Playlist: February 2014

I apologise about Eiffel 65.

1. Blue (Da Ba Dee) - Eiffel 65
I'm so sorry about having this in there, but Jonny started singing it and it's been in my head for the rest of the month.  Don't worry, tomorrow is a new month and you'll never have to hear it again.

2. My Curse - Killswitch Engage
Trivium and Killswitch toured the UK earlier in the month, and although metulzzz isn't my normal genre I love a bit of Killswitch. Trivium were pretty decent too, mind!

3. You're The Best - Joe "Bean" Esposito
Jonny sings a lot...

4. My Way - Limb Bizkit
Well, you can never beat a bit of Limp Bizkit at pre-drinks. SOME DAY YOU'LL SEE THINGS MY WAY.

5. Stay The Night - Zedd ft. Hayley Williams
This song has been around for ages but (I think) it's only just come out over here. The video still always looked odd to me so I never bothered giving it a listen but I can safely say what an idiot I am. Luv me Hayley.

6. Freaks And Geeks - Childish Gambino
Oh Donald. I didn't even really like this song before the beginning of the month and travelling up to Manchester for him  but it's damn good. I've almost got it all down...

7. Grey Room - Damien Rice
I miss you, Damien. Alas, no real story behind this one just revisiting my childhood through the medium of music.

8. Somewhere A Clock Is Ticking - Snow Patrol
This was one of the first non-chordy popular songs I learnt to play on guitar and it's just so good. Also the childhood thing applies here also.

9. Everything is AWESOME!! - Tegan And Sara feat. The Lonely Island
I had no idea this was T&S before I listened to it on Spotify but that makes it 10x better. I could listen to this for hours...

10. Flicker, Fade - Taking Back Sunday
OH MAN TAKING BACK SUNDAY WERE PHENOMENALLY GOOD AT THE KASBAH SO IN FACT I PUT TWO SONGS IN.

11. Bonus Mosh pt. II - Taking Back Sunday
I WANTED YOU FOR NOTHING MORE THAN HATING YOU FOR WHAT YOU WERE IF THAAAT'S WHAT YOU WAAAAANTED TO HEAAAAARRRR (IF THAT'S WHAT YOU WANTED TO HEAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR)

12. Top Notch - Manchester Orchestra
The new MO songs sound incredible. Probably up there with my favourites that they've released. So stoked on April (and now September as well). Bring on the album!

13. Lovely Bones - Kids in Glass Houses
*sob* KIGH *sob*

14. Between The Mountains And The Sea - Senses Fail
I never really gave Renacer a decent chance when it came out but the more I listen the better it gets. This song is top notch.
